With the devastation of COVID-19, our hunger problem has risen at alarming rates. Families, young children, and the elderly, have been left vulnerable to the needs of putting food on the table. Your partnership with us will help provide the primary people who benefit from our food pantry with healthy and nourishing food. Help make sure no one goes home hungry by volunteering with us or giving a donation.
OUR STORY
Our Start
Lisa and I have always loved to help others together. Whether it was feeding people, working with children, building housing, or mentorship, we always jumped right in. We decided to start HALO Effect to make the best use of our talents and the talents of those around us who also wanted to make a difference in our community and abroad. Meeting the needs of others, it's what we do.

Our Mission
HALO Effect gets its name from Housing, Agriculture, Longevity and Openhands. Our mission is to serve in these four areas of life. Making our world better starts with each individual becoming responsible for the needs of others. For us, this is achieved through education and benevolence towards our fellow mankind.
Our Team of Volunteers
Giving hearts make all the difference. We have an amazing team of volunteers! They drive vans to pick up food donations from Trader Joe's, spend time with at risk kids, build urban farms, demonstrate construction of indigenous habitats and the list goes on... If you are interested in joining Team HALO, give us a shout! There's always room for one more.
